Pumpkin, cinnamon, vanilla and pecans are a few of the ingredients award-winning Chef John Farley combined to create a delicious Pumpkin Log.
Chef John is a master of creativity in the kitchen. He set the winning record of 253 consecutive menus prepared without duplicating the main course even once. Chef John begins each day with random ingredients in bulk and ends with a hot, nourishing meal every night of the year.
He prepares 300-500 meals every day without a single recipe. In fact, he doesn’t even have measuring cups and spoons. Working in a commercial kitchen with a convection oven and industrial-size pans means that the Pumpkin Log is approximately three times the size of a typical recipe.
Chef John’s Pumpkin Log is sure to please this Christmas. The video below illustrates the steps involved. Enjoy!
