Our Mission

Values-What do we believe?

At Paz de Cristo we believe everyone is a child of God and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

Mission-Why are we here?

To Feed, Clothe, and Empower those in need in the East Valley of the Phoenix area.

Vision- Where are we going?

Our vision for Paz de Cristo is to empower our guests to reach their full potential by removing barriers so they may become more self-sufficient. Paz de Cristo exists to help them achieve self-reliance, pride and self-respect. In turn, this leads to improved economic standing, respect for others, and citizenship participation.

Tax Credit

Save up to $400 on your State taxes and Make a Difference by donating to Paz de Cristo

What if you could make as much as a $400 donation to Paz de Cristo, only to get the money back when you file your taxes? The Arizona Tax Credit for the Working Poor allows for a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for donations to Paz de Cristo. This can reduce your state tax liability by $400 for a married couple filing a joint return or $200 per single filer. You do not need to itemize your deductions in order to qualify for the tax credit. There is a simple form (AZ Form 321) that is included with your state tax filing that you or your accountant will complete.   Your donation will help us to fulfill our mission to feed, clothe and empower those in need in the Phoenix East Valley. Each month at Paz de Cristo we average 7,000 visits from individuals in need of help. We have assisted many with food, clothing, I.D. vouchers, birth certificates, showers, employment assistance and more.   Paz de Cristo is a Qualifying Charitable Organization; contributions are eligible for an individual income tax credit.
