Our mission is More Than a Meal…We Feed, Clothe and Empower our neighbors in need. We exist to break the cycle of poverty in the East Valley by providing essential resources with dignity and respect. Beyond immediate relief from hunger, we offer showers, apparel, and job assistance to restore hope. We are dedicated to helping struggling individuals and families regain their independence and build a brighter, more stable future.

Our vision is to empower our guests to reach their full potential by removing barriers so they may become more self-sufficient. Paz de Cristo Community Center exists to help them achieve self-reliance, pride and self-respect. Lives are changed leading to improved economic standing, respect for others and citizenship participation.

More than 50,000 meals are provided each month at Paz de Cristo Community Center through nightly meal service and food box programs
We tackle hunger head-on by delivering over 50,000 wholesome meals each month. Through our nightly dinner service and emergency food box initiatives, we guarantee that no one in our community has to go to bed hungry, providing not just nourishment, but also warmth and hope.

Clean clothes, a hot shower and a haircut give our guests a fresh start
There is something about wearing clean clothes, taking a hot shower, and getting a fresh haircut that can give our guests a brand new lease on life. By providing them with these basic necessities, we are helping them regain their sense of personal dignity and confidence. This type of physical makeover is exactly what it takes for them to find the motivation needed to pursue new opportunities and a secure future for themselves.
