Grab ‘n Go Dinners

Grab ‘n Go dinners are offered every night from 5:30  – 6:30 pm. It is our way of safely providing a hot, nutritious meal during the pandemic.

Restrooms

Restrooms in the dining hall are closed. Portable restrooms are available.

Mail

If you have signed up to receive your personal mail at Paz de Cristo, you may request it during Grab ‘n Go dinners from 5 – 6:30 pm.

Showers

Showers are offered from 10 am – 2 pm on Wednesdays. Those who come for a shower will receive a hygiene kit along with a new t-shirt, underwear and socks.

When you arrive on Wednesday, please wait at the gate on Broadway Road & Country Club Drive for further instructions.

Birth Certificates

Requests for free birth certificates can be made from 10 am – Noon on Wednesdays.

Those in need of a birth certificate will receive assistance completing the appropriate paperwork. Timing to receive the birth certificates varies by each state and may take four-six weeks.

When you arrive on Wednesday, please wait at the gate on Broadway Road & Country Club Drive for further instructions.

Resource Center

The Resource Center is open from 9 am – 3 pm, by appointment only.

Come to the Resource Center for assistance

  • – finding short-term shelter and permanent housing,
  • – securing benefits and
  • – finding a job.

Emergency Food Boxes

Food boxes are offered from 10 am – Noon on the first and second Tuesday of every month as well as the fourth Saturday of the month.

Please bring photo ID and proof of address such as postmarked mail received within the last 30 days.

Dates for food box distribution in June are Tuesday, June 2; Tuesday, June 9; and Saturday, June 27.

Food Boxes for Case Workers

Food boxes are provided every weekday to Case Workers who deliver them to their Clients.

Programs

We continue to fight hunger with Grab ‘n Go Dinners and Emergency Food Boxes as well as offer showers and birth certificates.

However, all other programs have been temporarily suspended in an effort to stop the spread of coronavirus. This means that all programs including clothing, haircuts, employment coaching, job search assistance, Arizona identification and the mobile medical clinic are all closed effective immediately and until further notice.
